Apple plans to maintain its dominance using Iphone SE 3 in the smartphone market in the coming years. The company is currently planning to expand its operations and introduce low-cost mid-range smartphones in the market.
Recent leaks have revealed that Apple will launch the iPhone SE 3 in the coming months, offering it for sale for only $ 300.
The latest update claims that John Donovan from Loop Capital Markets has reported that the upcoming iPhone SE 3 could be offered for a starting price of just $ 300. The current model iPhone SE 2 is offered in $ 399, and is expected to have a faster processor, longer battery life and 5G support.
By comparison, Apple currently sells the cheapest devices on the market, such as the iPhone 12 Mini for $ 599, while smartphones such as the iPhone 13 series sell for a starting price of $ 699.
The report also cites reports from JPMorgan analysts in December 2021 who claimed that Apple was taking this special step to switch about 1.4 billion Android smartphone users to the iPhone. In addition, financial analysts say that 300 million users of older iPhone models could benefit from the upgrade.
The iPhone SE 3 (2022) is expected to have the Apple A15 Bionic chipset, as used for the iPhone 13 series. The SE 3 will have the same design as the SE 2 with an aluminum rear.
Apple is expected to announce the iPhone SE 3 (2022) earlier this spring. The date of the official ceremony has not been revealed yet. However, reports indicate that the event could take place on March 8.
