Vivo Y36 (50 MP Camera, 128 GB Storage)

The recently unveiled vivo Y36 has just made its debut in Spain, offering a compelling price tag and a range of features that position it as a top contender in the mid-range smartphone market.

Officially launched in Spain, the new vivo Y36 aims to deliver impressive performance to users while ensuring worry-free battery life with its high-capacity battery. Let’s delve into its detailed specifications.

With storage options of up to 256 GB, expandable microSD support up to 1 TB, and 8 GB of RAM, vivo leaves no doubt about its intentions. Additionally, the Y36 employs Extended RAM 3.0 functionality, allowing the device to analyze and utilize up to 8 GB of primary memory as RAM when needed.

Powering the vivo Y36 is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680, a mid-range processor built on a 6-nanometer architecture with 8 cores. While the processor is expected to deliver optimal performance in most situations, it might encounter some challenges when handling the latest generation games or resource-intensive applications.

The Y36 boasts a substantial 5,000 mAh battery and supports 44W vivo FlashCharge fast charging technology. Notably, the company claims that just 15 minutes of charging can take the battery from 1% to 29%. A full charge, on the other hand, will require approximately 73 minutes.

Featuring rapid charging capabilities, an impressive battery capacity, and an eye-catching design, the vivo Y36 also sports a 6.64-inch LCD display with Full HD+ resolution and a 90 Hz refresh rate. Although an AMOLED panel might have been expected, we will have to wait until we can test the device to assess the performance of this LCD screen under various lighting conditions.

The Y36 is equipped with a triple camera setup, including a 50 MP f/1.8 main sensor, a 2 MP f/2.4 sensor for capturing bokeh effects, and another 2 MP sensor with the same resolution specifically designed for macro photography. The primary sensor’s wider aperture suggests its capability to capture low-light photos.

In Spain, the new vivo Y36 is available in its 4G variant, priced at 299 euros. Unfortunately, the 5G version will not be released in the country for the time being. In terms of connectivity, the Y36 offers WiFi ac, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, USB-C, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack for wired headphones.
