A report released by the American research firm Sabel has revealed that hackers have sold the profiles of 270 million Facebook users after 500,000 users of the ‘Zoom’ app.
The report states that the said profiles have been sold on the Dark Web for only 500 Euros (Rs. 86,258).
On the other hand, in a blog published in the American magazine Forbes Magazine, a team called Threat Actor revealed that all the information of 267 million Facebook users has been sold.

The threat actor team also said that “hackers did not sell users’ passwords but their personal email address, name, Facebook ID, date of birth and phone number on the website.”
The blog reveals that hackers can rob users by sending messages and messages via phone numbers, and if a user logs in with their ID these days, important information can be stolen.
